LO5 - Legal and Ethical and Copyright

Legal and ethical issues

Dylan Eggbeat is a pretty tame show so there should be no controversy and it will be shown before the watershed as it isn't any real issue. Because it doesn't really deal with any mature themes such as sex, alcohol or drugs.

Copyright

To avoid any copyright issues I will need a PRS license which I can purchase, this means we can play music from anybody because Dylan Eggbeat will require some music. A PRS license will allow us to play any music we want on the air, this will cost £300 and will have to be renewed annually.

LO3 Tupperware of Travesty script

ANDREW
Hey there fellow listeners, you are now listening to the Tupperware of Travesty, the worst possible show you could listen to ever.

JOE AND JAMES
(Laughing)

ANDREW
On this episode as usual we have me, Andrew; the walking misery James

JAMES
Shut up.

ANDREW
And the rad but chill Joe.

JOE
Sup.

ANDREW
So for those that don't know, the Tupperware of Travesty is as much a game as a show. We have a tupperware...box thing whatever this is called, filled with cards with phrases and words on it, and we have to make stories out of them.

LO4 Financial Breakdown

The Equipment we will be needing is a microphone that will cost £50.00, the microphone is a vital piece of equipment to record a high quality sounding audio media podcast. The headphones will cost £20.00 which we need to be able to hear the podcast during the editing product. The mixing desk for a show like this is very important, as there will be lots of sound effects used and background music. The mixer will be to adjust the volume for each effect we want to use, this will cost around £235.00. And finally we will need a PRS License which will cost £100.00 which is vital for a radio show like Dylan Eggbeat as we will be playing lots of different music on the show. Or we could use a recording studio which would cost £80.00 for a session, but the issue with this would be the fact we would have to record the shows in bulk. Therefor leaving a lot of editing left over, this isn't ideal due to the fact we could get tired and worn out, after spending many hours in the studio. The pilot would be ideally done in a studio, then if it is liked we would be funded to get proper equipment. This will be cheaper in the long run.

LO5 Production Schedule

This is the production schedule for Good Fine Cooking with Dylan Eggbeat. The production schedule was used to make sure that we were on target with the deadlines and that as a group we were all aware of what we were going to be doing on each day.
